Jamie Stevens is a freelance photographer based in North Wales, United Kingdom. The majority of Jamie’s work revolves around architecture and interior photography but also works in other genres including automotive, drone, food, portraiture, landscape & documentary photography.
Using disposable cameras along with his late father’s photographic knowledge gave him the opportunity to start experimenting with the medium from an early age, however being highly involved in outdoor activities and growing up close to the Eryri National Park became the main pathway into photography. In 2014, Jamie decided to study a Foundation Degree at Coleg Llandrillo Menai, Rhos-on-Sea to develop his knowledge and technical skill in various areas.
After graduating with a Distinction grade Foundation Degree in July 2016, Jamie moved to London to continue his studies to top-up to a Bachelor of Arts Photography Degree at London South Bank University, where he achieved a First Class Honours and was awarded the Course Director’s Outstanding Achievement Award for his work over the two-year course.
Since returning back to North Wales in 2018, Jamie has continued to develop his portfolio and connections extensively to be able to offer a wider range of services to previous and future clients through the medium of Welsh and English language, while developing various personal bodies of work about his home location, through using industrialisation and landscapes as his subjects, drawing on their history.
If you have a photography shoot/project in mind or have any enquiries regarding Jamie’s work or purchase of prints, please get in touch using the contact details at the bottom of this page.
